All rides start from the obelisk at St Julians Friars.
Short beginners' rides
First Wednesday of every month all year round.
10.00-11.30am
A short ride on traffic-free paths and quiet streets round Shrewsbury.
This ride is especially aimed at people who have not been on their bikes for a while or are nervous cycling in traffic. Also useful if you are a regular cyclist and would like to try some new or unfamiliar cycle routes.
From June 2014, the beginner rides will also be open to men.
If you would like to try out an electric bike on this ride, please contact Ian Gordon at Silver E Riders on 07523 496902.
Longer rides
First Sunday of every month all year round
1pm-4.30pm approx
An easy-paced social ride with time for rest and refreshments. Suitable for women who would like to cycle in a group or who aren't sure about finding the best routes in their area - but anyone who would like a gentle social ride is welcome.
Please note, there will be no Women on Wheels on 7 September 2014.
Why not try out the Severn Hospice Great Big Bike Ride on 7 September or the Meres and Mosses Cycle Safari on 14 September as an alternative?
