Pedal in the Park beginners' rides
Every Wednesday.
Meet at 10am at the Obelisk by Greyfriars Bridge, Shrewsbury
A very gently paced, sociable cycle ride along the traffic free riverside cycle path.
Suitable for those new to cycling or who haven’t ridden a bike for some time.
No need to book on the ride but let us know in advance if you need to borrow a bicycle. Call 01743 254968 or email transport@shropshire.gov.uk.

This photo is of Arthur, he is almost 80 and hadn't cycled since 1956 until he joined our Pedal in the Park rides in October 2014! Now he has bought his own bike and is cycling into town from his home in Bayston Hill!
Of the Pedal in the Park rides, he said: 'It’s been terrifically helpful, I’ve got nothing but praise for the organisation. It’s opened up my horizons again after being confined to the car."
